Welcome to EHSMUN 2024!

 

The Secretariat of EHSMUN 2023-2024 is honored to welcome you to the fourth annual conference hosted by Edison High School Model UN. Our conference serves as a platform for fostering diplomatic discourse among people passionate about global affairs. 

As such, this conference will focus on the theme “Politics and Power in the Modern Era,” shedding light on the intricate dynamics that shape our world today. This year we are proud to present our five committees: Modern Slavery in the Middle East; The Berlin Blockade of 1948; Addressing Food Security Around the World; The Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971; and Renaissance Florence: Conspiracy Against the Medici.

Our aim is to delve into the nuances of political landscapes, explore the evolution of power structures, and understand the diverse perspectives that drive contemporary global affairs. Through these committees, delegates will have the opportunity to engage in rigorous debate, strategic negotiations, and innovative problem-solving, contributing to meaningful resolutions that tackle pressing global challenges.
